About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Officer to join our growing digital team. This role is ideal for someone who understands business development fundamentals and is eager to gain hands-on experience in Upwork bidding, LinkedIn outreach, and client relationship management. You will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, writing winning proposals, and helping grow our agency’s client base through strategic communication and market research.
Key Responsibilities:
● Manage and execute Upwork bidding, identify potential projects, draft compelling proposals, and follow up with clients.
● Conduct LinkedIn outreach to generate qualified leads and establish business relationships.
● Support the business development team in tracking and analyzing ongoing opportunities.
● Research target industries to identify trends, potential clients, and partnership opportunities.
● Collaborate with the management team to refine pitch strategies and improve proposal success rates.
● Maintain CRM data and ensure timely communication with leads.
Requirements:
● Basic understanding of Upwork platform, freelance marketplaces, and LinkedIn networking.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
● Knowledge of business development processes, lead generation, and sales funnels.
● Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
● Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, CRM software, and Excel/Sheets.
● Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
